Self-motivation, where have you gone? Please come back.

Mmm…Chocolate

January 28, 2010

In celebration of National Chocolate Cake Day, I am going to wax briefly on the joys of this most tasty treat. Oh, cake. Even when you’re bad, you’re good. Grocery store cake? I’ll eat it, cloyingly sweet, artificial frosting and all. A cake that completely falls apart because I took it out of the pan before it had cooled properly? I’ll eat it–and have eaten it…right off the kitchen counter.

Oo, dinner time! (My mom just ballyhooed (funny word!) to me) Trust me, there is more to be said about cake. But right now noodles are calling my name.

Oodles of Noodles!

A Little Intro

January 23, 2010

Hi…universe? That’s a little disarming. Aaaand totally not true. Because so far, I am the only one who has visited this blog. Yay for one follower! So, take two on the introduction.

Hi Website Design Class!
This is my first ever blog post. I feel like I’ve already plagiarized the movie, Julie&Julia. I’m pretty sure Julie said something exactly like that in the movie. Do you ever get that feeling that nothing you say or do is original? That you’re completely lacking in creativity and individuality? Well, I certainly do.

Anyway, this blog is an assignment for my website design class. I’m going to try and be witty–I like to think that comes naturally. Based on that comment, I guess arrogance comes naturally to me too…oops I’m obviously making a really good first impression. Oh well, Happy National Pie Day.

Ciao!
